Charles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life by answering a private detective ad and becomes the mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home. A remake of the movie Salainen agentti vanhainkodissa (2020).

These actors get better with age and are amazing in this lovely comedy series!

I’m 67 years old and it’s been amazing to see so many actors from our generation and their great comedic style. As the mystery is solved, the script gets a little lost and delves more into the character’s backstory.

It’s really not a mystery

That’s good because you have a pretty good idea who the culprit is about halfway through. You don’t mind that it’s not really a mystery because you’re just having fun watching these lovely old men work and show off their stuff.

Just a tribute to how brave it is to be a senior citizen and still be active and feel visible in our youth-oriented society. What a sweet tribute to those who support and help navigate the minefields of aging this series was.
