It’s a prequel to the original Dune that tells the story of how the Rossak Sisterhood evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The incident with Valya Harkonnen comes from ‘Mentats of Dune.’ The three books intertwine the evolution of the Sisterhood, the Mentats, the Navigators, and the Suk Doctors. Well, I honestly put off watching this because all the previews seemed boring.
It’s definitely interesting
Tonight, out of sheer desperation to see something new, I gave in and decided to give it a try. You know what, I’m glad I did. The acting is decent, the world is solid, and there are some very dynamic characters.
The biggest drawback so far is the pacing
The first part drags on a lot towards the end, but I’m not going to lie, the ending was good. My only concern is that this might have the same problem as The Rings of Power. Too much buildup with a lack of delivery.
Only time will tell
